What if I can't find what I am looking for?
The website showcases some of our more popular items. However, if you have seen an item on another website or are wondering if we carry a particular item please contact us. We are constantly expanding our product and vendor line so check back often! There is a good chance the item you are looking for still needs to be added to our online store!

How do I Add Items to my Basket?
When you find a product you like, click on the image to see more details of the product. When you have selected any options or personalization enter the quantity you would like to order and click the "Add to Basket" button to add the product(s) to your shopping cart. You will be taken to the basket screen and from here have the option to purchase more of this item, continue shopping, or checkout.

When you view your basket you can change product quantities or remove items.

How do I know which products are In Stock?
Weddingfavours.ca has two stock levels. The stock level listed on the product page is the stock level of the supplier. If the supplier is out of stock of a particular item, it will be listed on the product page along with a date of when the product is returning to stock. An out of stock item can still be purchased online. The processing time listed still applies to products once they return to stock.

Please note: Our online stock system is updated on a weekly basis. If you place an order for an item that indicates it is "Available" but the supplier is out of stock when we place the order with them, we will contact you right away if we cannot deliver the product by the date you requested.

Our second stock level is not listed on the website but includes small stock of our most popular items. If you are looking for a particular item and it is not available online or out of stock, please call or email us as we often carry stock of a backordered item at our warehouse. Items that we stock at our location can often be shipped the next business day.

How do I Place an Order?
Orders can be placed by using our secure on-line shopping basket or can be phoned in. To place on order online enter your bill to and ship to addresses, your payment option, shipping option, and payment information. You will then be asked to confirm your order and a copy of the invoice will be sent to your email address.

Can I place Telephone Orders?
Telephone orders can be placed by calling toll free at 1-888-328-6870 or locally at 1-519-485-4222 Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm (Eastern Standard Time).

What Taxes are added to my order?
Weddingfavours.ca charges sales tax for products ordered on this internet site based on the applicable federal and provincial sales tax rate of the location to which the order is being shipped. Taxes will be added during the checkout process.

Orders shipped to:
Ontario, New Brunswick and New Foundland are charged 13% H.S.T.
British Columbia is charged 12% HST
Nova Scotia is charged 15% HST
All other provinces are charged 5% G.S.T
Orders shipped outside Canada are not charged tax from our website but there may be taxes due when the order arrives in the destination country. The customer is responsible for paying the taxes that are due when items clear customs end enters the destination country.

Is there a Minimum Order?
Weddingfavours.ca does not have a price minimum but some of our personalized and less popular items have a minimum order. If a product has a minimum order it will let you know on the product page. If your order is $25.00 or less before taxes and shipping there might be a delay in your order. To keep our prices low and shipping costs down, we often 'clump' small orders with larger orders. This might cause a delay in the processing time of your order.

Can I place a sample order?
Although in most cased the product descriptions and images are very good at depicting each individual product, we understand if you would like to see a particular product before a larger order is placed. Sample orders can be placed online or over the telephone during our regular business hours. Sample orders are treated as a regular order and are charged a unit price along with shipping and taxes. If you would like to see a sample of a product that has a minimum order please contact us via email or over the phone, we often have samples available in our warehouse.

What are my payment options?
Weddingfavours.ca accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and PayPal. We also accept certified checks and money orders. Your order will be processed and shipped once payment is received.

Can you put a rush on my order?
If you need your order before the normal processing and shipping time listed on the website the order can be rushed. There is an additional $10 charge to rush the order and depending on the item it may only rush the order by 2-5 business days. The rush fee can be added during the checkout process. If you are unsure if the items will arrive on time please call customer service at 1-888-328-6870 during regular business hours and we will do everything we can do accommodate your request.

Weddingfavours.ca also stocks some popular products and in most cases can ship those products the next day. Please contact customer service for our current list of in stock products that are available to ship right away.

Why do you ask for my event date?
We use your event date for research purposes only. This date is not used to rush or slow down an order in anyway. However, if you list an event date that is sooner than the standard processing time on the website, you may be contacted via email and the order may be cancelled.

What is Volume Pricing & how does it work?
Weddingfavours.ca is pleased to offer pricing discounts on volume purchases. These discounts vary by item, but can result in a substantial savings off the individual item price. Volume price tables are listed on the individual item pages and will display the volume and price breakdown. Add the quantity you would like to purchase to your basket and the discount will be automatically calculated and applied to your order.

Items with colour or design options are considered separate items and cannot be combined towards the volume discount.

Sample orders will be charged the highest price listed for the product as indicated in the volume price table.

Subsequent orders are treated as new orders and will not be combined with previous volume discounts.

Why Personalize my Order?
When you give someone a gift that is engraved or has a special message on it you are giving them a gift they will cherish and remember forever! Especially if the item includes the couple's names and wedding date, this will help your guests remember your special day.

How long will it take to personalize my gift(s)?
The processing time for each product is listed directly on the product page. In some cases personalizing an item increases the processing time. This extra processing time will be specified either in the description of the item or listed under the product number. Some items can be rushed if necessary.

How much text can I engrave and what size font do you use?
Each gift has a limitation on the number of characters that can be engraved. The font size is determined by the number of characters we are engraving on your specific gift. The more text engraved the smaller the font size. As you are shopping for a gift please pay attention to the personalization field, which will indicate the maximum number of characters that can be engraved on the item.

Where will the engraving appear on my gift?
The engraving location is predetermined and will depend on the gift you are personalizing. In most cases the engraving is done in the center of the item. However, for some gifts, you will find the engraving location specified either in the description of the item or reflected in the image of the product.

Will I get an email confirmation after I place my order?
Once an order is placed, both online and over the phone, you will receive a confirmation via email. This email will include your order details such as your order number, the bill and ship to address as well the total of your order including all shipping and taxes. Please verify your order confirmation immediately upon receipt to verify the details of your order and contact customer service if there are any questions, concerns or changes.

How do I check the status of my order?
Weddingfavours.ca ships all orders as quickly as possible but we understand that you may want to check the status of an order you have placed.
Online: Click on the Order Status link and enter your order number and email address. You will be taken to a new screen with your order information and the current status of your order. Please note: our order status manager is only updated during regular business hours and when the status of an order has changed.
Phone or Email: Please contact us during our regular business hours at 1-888-328-6870 or email us at info@weddingfavours.ca with your order number and we will be happy to assist you.

How do I change or cancel my order?
Please verify your order confirmation immediately upon receipt to verify the details of your order. You can make changes or cancel an order as long as the order is not being processed and has not been personalized. Please contact customer service as soon as possible with cancellations or changes so we can accommodate your request. If an order is processing, no changes can be made.

If your order has been shipped, any non-personalized items it will be treated as a return.

Personalized items cannot be cancelled if your order has already been sent to the printers.

Returns & Exchanges
Can Merchandise be Returned?
When you receive your order, please inspect it carefully to ensure that all items meet your expectations. If you are not satisfied please contact us within 30 of receiving the order for a Return Authorization Number. We cannot accept returns after 30 days. Items must be in their original packaging (unused and unworn) to be accepted for a return.

IMPORTANT: Understandably, please note that the following items are non-refundable:

*Set-up or Personalization Fee Charges
*Clearance and Final Sale items

NOTE: Colours vary slightly due to the manufacturing process specific to each product. Although it is impossible to achieve an exact colour match for every item, small variations in colour often enhance the overall effect of your colour scheme. Products seen on the online catalogue do not always represent an identical colour match. Colour reproduction is limited by various situations beyond our control such as the hue/contrast settings on your monitor.

Can I return Personalized items?
Due to the nature of these items (i.e. they cannot be resold) personalized favours and gifts are non-returnable and non-refundable.

What if I received my order, but some items are damaged or missing?
Please inspect all items carefully when you receive your order. If there is any damage or items missing, please call our customer service department at 1-888-328-6870 at your earliest convenience, but no later than 30 days after the package was received. Keep the original box, packaging materials, as well as any paperwork that came on or in the box. We may request that you email us a digital photograph of the damaged box and/or items.

How do I Return Items?
Please contact us at info@weddingfavours.ca for a Return Authorization number. Orders without a Return Authorization number will not be accepted. Please note, your return authorization number will expire 30 days after issuance.

Clearly mark the package with the Return Authorization Number and send the package to us with shipping pre-paid by you to the address:

Upon receipt of the product we will credit you for the merchandise and taxes only. We recommend using a carrier with a tracking number. Products damaged or lost during return shipping will not be refunded. Shipping and processing charges will not be refunded. Please allow 7 to 10 business days for your return to be processed.

Do you charge a Restocking Fee?
A restocking fee will be added to the order and is based on the return value before taxes:
$0.01 - $50       = $1.50
$50.01 - $100   = $3.00
$100.01 - $200 = $5.00
$200.01 +         = 5% of total

Refused Orders and Undeliverable Orders
If a delivery is refused for any reason, or considered undeliverable due to an invalid shipping address entered by the customer, extra shipping charges will be charged. Please proofread your order before finalizing.

How long before I receive my refund?
After we receive the return and inspect the package the credit will be processed in 3-5 business days. Please allow adequate time for you banking institution to process the credit card. Refunds due to cancelled orders are also processed in 3-5 business days.

Shipping
What is Drop Shipping and does Weddingfavours.ca Drop Ship?
Drop shipment or drop shipping is a type of retailing where the retailer does not keep goods in stock, but instead passes the customer's order and shipment details to the wholesaler, who then ships the goods to the customer directly. Drop shipping increases the risk of lost orders, damaged product, and unwanted headaches.

Weddingfavours.ca is proud to say that we DO NOT drop ship your orders. Any orders placed with us are shipped directly from our location in Ontario. You never have to pay customs fees or duty fees (when the order is shipped in Canada) and you never have to worry about customs delays. Weddingfavours.ca imports all products, checks the quality of the product, replaces any damaged or defective product, and then ships the orders to customers with a tracking number so you always know the status of your order.

What Shipping Methods do you Offer?
Pick-up: We offer pickup options for those in the London and surrounding area. Please select this option during checkout. You will be contacted by email when your order is ready for pick-up. Please note: once the pick-up email has been sent you are required to pick-up your order within 30 days or we will ship the items to you at your expense.

UPS Standard: Select UPS Standard during the checkout process. You will be contacted by email when we ship your order. The email will also contain a tracking number so you can track the order online on the UPS website.

Canada Post: You will be contacted by email when we ship your order. The email will also contain a tracking number so you can track the order online on the Canada Post website. If your order states TBD or $0.00 as the shipping price you will receive a second invoice with your shipping costs. This second invoice will be your new total.

Do you ship Internationally?
Yes, we ship internationally depending on the country. Shipping costs can be calculated by adding the items you would like to purchase into the basket and clicking on "Calculate Shipping Costs" in the basket screen. Which shipping method should I select?
Delivery times are based on the destination of the order and the carrier you select. Please note that increasing your shipping method DOES NOT decrease our processing time.

  • Expedited: Once the order is shipped it will arrive within 1 - 8 business days, remote areas could take up to 13 business days.
  • Xpresspost: Once the order is shipped it will arrive within 1 - 4 business days, remote areas could take an additional 1-3 days.
  • Priority Courier: Once the order is shipped it will arrive within 1 - 3 business days, remote areas could take an additional 1-3 days.
  • UPS Standard: Once the order is shipped it will arrive within 1 - 8 business days, remote areas could take an additional 1-2 days. UPS does not ship to all locations in Canada and cannot ship to PO Boxes.
    Within U.S.A
  • Expedited US: Orders shipped to the United States via Expedited US are sent via Canada Post and enter the United States as the USPS (United States Parcel Service). Once the order is shipped it will arrive in 8 - 10 business days. Weddingfavours.ca is not responsible for customs fees, duty fees, or delays due to customs.
  • UPS Standard: Once the order is shipped it will arrive within 3 - 10 business days. Once the order is shipped it will arrive in 8 - 10 business days. Weddingfavours.ca is not responsible for customs fees, duty fees, or delays due to customs.
    International Orders
  • Canada Post International: Once the order is shipped it will arrive in 6 - 12 weeks. We are not responsible for customs fees, duty, fees, or delays due to customs.
  • UPS Worlwide Expedited: Once the order is shipped it will arrive in 4 - 12 business days. We are not responsible for customs fees, duty, fees, or delays due to customs.
Due to high temperatures during the summer months, there will be no guarantee on any candles, chocolates or candies shipped regular ground by courier or mail. If you order these items between May 1st and September 30th you may be required to pay extra shipping to have the order shipped to your destination by air.

When will my order ship?
All items on the website provide a processing time before the order will ship. This processing time indicates the time necessary to process the order from our shipping center. This processing time is listed in business days and does not include the holidays, weekends, or shipping/transit time. Rush orders are available if necessary.

Will I receive a tracking number with my order?
When your order is ready to ship you will receive a tracking number via email. Just follow the link provided in the email and enter the tracking number to locate your package. There is no tracking number provided when shipping a package with Canada Post International Parcel Service.

Will the items on my order ship together or separately?
In an effort to help our customers save on shipping costs, all orders are shipped together and complete. Some products, because of their size, may ship separately. This will be indicated on the product page and additional shipping charges may apply.

Orders with backordered items will ship once the backordered item has returned to stock. If you would like your order to ship in multiple shipments, please contact customer service. Additional shipping charges will apply.

What if I'm not home to accept my package?
We recommend shipping your order with Canada Post if no one will be available to sign for the package during the day. They will attempt a delivery and if no one is home, they will leave a delivery slip and you can pick-up your order at the nearest postal outlet.

Please note: Weddingfavours.ca is not responsible for packages that are damaged, stolen, or left at the wrong house by any of the shipping carriers. Please prevent these problems by ensuring you have the correct ship to address.

Please order as early as possible. We are not liable for any packages that arrive late due to shipping problems that arise with our couriers and the Canada Postal System.

Do you have a store I can visit or do I have to place all orders online?
We now have a showroom located in Ingersoll, Ontario where we showcase over 200 of our most popular items. Products can be viewed and orders can be taken at our showroom but our standard processing time still applies. This is a great way to see the products before you order them!

What should I do if I am having difficulties with the Website?
We take pride in the performance of our website but sometimes we hear from people who have had problems getting through.
In our experience, performance problems on the Internet can occur for a variety of different reasons, including the time of day, congestion on the Internet itself, problems at an individual Internet Service Provider, or problems at a website.
