Save the Date

Save the dates are often sent out in advance of the actual invitations. It does not have all the details listed but it informs your guests that they will be on your guest list and you want to ensure that they keep the calendar date clear for your wedding. It is especialy wise if you are planning a destination wedding or if you have a guestlist that includes many people who will have to travel to come to the wedding. Guests who need to make flight plans need more time than local guests will.
